My story
I recognized the value of preserving memories at a young age, and have since vowed to capture anything and everything to make sure all of the most special moments in my, as well as my loved ones' lives, were documented. When I was 13, I unexpectedly lost my dad, with only a handful of pictures to remember him by. Not only was I grieving my person and best friend, but I was also grieving the photos I wished I had. He desperately hated having his picture taken, and because of that, the only memories I have are the fading images created in my mind. I frequently find myself wishing I could reminisce on the small things, like what his smile looked like when he was proud of me, what his laugh looked like when he was the happiest, or even what his hand looked like helping me cross the street.
When photos outlive people and when moments become memories in the blink of an eye, they become more than just images- they become legacies freezing fleeting seconds into keepsakes reflecting the love and life shared across time.
Whether it be sneaking pictures of my pregnant best friend picking out baskets for her first baby's nursery or forcing my brother to take a selfie with me on his college tour, creating snapshots of special moments is always in the back of my mind. It is truly a compilation of all of the small moments that tell big stories.

I got my first camera when I was 16 years old, and instantly fell in love with taking photos. I found myself regularly making my friends model for me in random back alleys of my small hometown and convincing people to do the most insanely random photoshoot concepts for my AP Art portfolio that concentrated on surrealist Photoshop. I have always dreamed of making photography my living, and I will forever be grateful that I get to do what I love every day.
NOW THAT YOU KNOW I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY...
Get to know me!

I am originally from a small town in Oklahoma called Enid and graduated from college with a degree in Advertising and Entrepreneurship from the University of Oklahoma. Before taking the leap to follow my dreams and start my own photography business, I worked at an advertising agency and started my postgrad career as a UX designer. I found the love of my life in high school and this year we are celebrating 3 years of marriage this year with our beautiful baby girl!
When I am not taking pictures, you can find me drinking iced lattes on a cold day, taking a morning stroll with my baby and crazy dachshund, or obsessing over whatever crafty hobby I have decided is my passion this month. (Creating felt toys for my daughter and learning how to paint with watercolors is the current thing consuming my mind and free time for the time being).

I am based in Flower Mound, Texas near Dallas-Fort Worth but my heart is in Italy. Some of my most treasured memories are traveling with my husband and exploring new places. We have visited Rome, Florence, Amalfi, Budapest, Vienna, Munich, Venice, Milan, and Lake Como together. We hope to someday also visit Greece, South France, Croatia, Turkey, and of course make it back to Italy.
Whether it be somehow ending up in Finland when we were supposed to be flying into Milan, or driving 14 hours to Cincinnati overnight to make it in time for a friend's wedding after a flight cancellation, spontaneous and unexpected adventures hold some of my favorite stories.
